Spinosaurus (meaning "spined reptile") is the largest carnivorous dinosaur to ever exist. This behemoth lived in present-day Morocco during the upper Albian to upper Turonian stages of the Cretaceous period, about 112 to 93.5 million years ago. This genuine fossil is unusually well-preserved, still containing actual bone matter, and was unearthed in the Kem Kem formation, Sahara Desert, Morocco. The cube in the photo is approximately one centimeter.
